Braille on Apple Products

Hi, I just heard about brailling on an Iphone. How on earth do you position your fingers correctly? Why does pressing dot 4 kick me out of the braille keyboard? Is there a help file somewhere? Thanks

As a tip (I use too Braile Input on iPhone) I generally use the Away mode, in which you hold your phone with the two palms of your hands with the right being on the side of the Home button, and the left side being on the top of the phone, thus the fingers automatically know where to Braille. OH and you need to calibrate the dots to ensure a better Brailing experience; you do this with Brailling the letter l, and then immediately afterwards dots 567. Good luck!

Having just started to use Apple's Braille Screen Input mode here, what reasons are there to invest in MBraille? I don't mind buying a copy if there are clear advantages.

Honestly, the thing that is taking the longest to get used to with this kind of text entry is not feeling any springy feedback from a flat surface. I used a Perkins Brailler all through elementary and high school, including many senior math classes, so it's hard to not instinctively engage lots of forearm muscles. (grin)

Is it possible to navigate in that text?

Hello,
I’ve been using braille screen input for several montHs now. I really enjoy it. I personally could never get he hang om screenaway mde, so I use tabletop mode most of the time. Screen away feels awkward to me since it feels like your hands are in the wrong position.
