Mainstream games

iOS and iPadOS Gaming

Hello everybody,
I opened a thread like this 4 years ago already, but didn't get any reactions. I thought I'd just try it again, also because a lot of things changed in the iOs world, and also in the mind of a lot of developers and Gamers.
I am seeking games both sighted and blind People are able to Play. They don't Need to have voice over Support. It should just be somehow possible to Play them, even if it might require a lot of practice. Examples are dice world, bubble Island, Diamond dash, fruit ninja, Lords and knights/celtic tribes or a dark room.
I heard that street fighter is accessible, along with a game about cars, which I don't remember, but I don't know how it works and couldn't find a tutorial about it. Also I've been told that People are able to Play stuff like angry birds, super Mario or fish out of water, but have no idea how.
Does anyone know of other games both sighted and blind People can Play, possibly Mainstream ones? Or does anyone have a Little walkthrough for the games mentioned above?
I'd be happy about every Little Information, since I have a Group of friends who often ddo some sorts of game parties, where I can never participate, and also I am not a big fan of games where VoiceOver constantly talks and where sighted People can't follow on the Screen what I do.
Thank you in advance for Information and help on this matter.
Have a nice day!
Mira

King of Dragon Pass is accessible with Voiceover, but sounds like that's not what you're looking for. Same with the Choice of Games series.

Some blind people play Injustice, a fighting game with DC superheroes. I've never played it before myself, but in general fighting games tend to be playable.

3 words: Super Mario Run. I think this is my current favorite game even though I have to guess my way through a lot of it. Maybe I have more patience than a lot of people would though. lol Once you get into the levels though, it just becomes a matter of timing taps on the screen, and I've been able to get through some of the coin challenges with a lot of YouTube watching. If I had the equipment and the know how, I'd submit a podcast here.

Hello there. No, king of Dragon pass is not really what i'm looking for, also not really the choice games. I'm not into that Kind of stuff. Maybe someone who Play injustice can give me a short walk through or something? Super Mario sounds fun. A small tutorial would be cool too, even if it's written! Especially for the menus and how you get along in the game itself.
Did anyone ever Play aangry birds or something like that with success?
Thanks for your answers. I hope there will be more!

I'm not sure a written guide would work for Mario because a lot of of the sound cues you have to listen for would be hard to describe. It would make a lot more sense with an audio demo/tutorial. Kind of hard to make one with my iPhone as my only device though. lol

Hi,
Have you tried RS Games? I think there is a version that people can play without Voice Over etc. support.

Hudoodle is fun to play with others as well!

Hi Final Fantasy recordkeeper. I tried it once but I didn’t understand it. I think you can play with other people. Here is the link.
FINAL FANTASY Record Keeper by DeNA Corp. Hope this helps.
Thanks.

Hello Mira,
we are currently developing a game with exactly the specifications, you describe. It is designed from the scratch to give visual impaired and cited gamers equal rights in the challenge. So please follow us here or on facebook, https://www.facebook.com/FEERtheGame/

Would love to have a sport game like football, baseball or others that sighted people play like NFL, MLB or NBA games.

I'd love to play a peaceful game like my hospital or any caring game for animals etc.

Hello and thank you all for your answers.
I sadly don't have Facebook, so don't know if I am able to see the Trailer for feer.
The sad Thing about most games for the blind is that they often don't have good sounds. If you take my Baby sim for example, the sounds are not good at all. Or hatchie doesn't have any. The fighting games by storms 8 or however that game is called don't really have any. That's missing. If I hear sighted People plaing, they have so many sounds. Even a quite simple game like Tetris or Solitaire has more sounds and Music than other iphone games accessible to vo! So you literarily only hear voice over babbling.
I might try injustice, didn't know it works on the iPhone too.
If there are other ideas for Mainstream games, please post them here. I'm open for everything, also for pc but i think that would be off Topic on here.
Thanks and have a nice day.

Like I said in another posting, someone in the so call blind community will need to create those games that we like such as sports games. I knew someone who did a good boxing game for window and football game with great sounds. Like the all saing goes someone will build itthey will come. I would pay for a good quality sport game that uses quality sound effect. Where are those nice blind gamers?
