Hello all
I'm almost diew for an iPhone upgrade and I am interested in the iPhone 8. For the life of me I can not find the iPhone review podcast. Can anyone here please point me in the right direction?
Hello
Thanks to TJT I received the answers I'm looking for. Only one more question please to iPhone 8 users: Is the battery life better using the iPhone 8 than the 6S?
It is very hard to answer this question because it tends to vary with each software update. I don't think it is intended to be too much longer, but with newer technology, it is possible that your battery life may be a little longer than with your 6s.
Think about this for a moment. Your 6S device is probably 3 years old or possibly older still. The battery, as all rechargeable batteries do over time, break down. Your battery has probably broken down to say 75/80% of it's full capacity, so your battery life is shortened significantly. The 8/8 plus battery lives are probably about what the 6S device was when new, possibly a little longer. I've got the X, and i've noticed according to apple life is about two hours longer than what you'd expect on the 8.
Also, if you do get the 8, I strongly recommend getting an external battery case. Your device fits into the case, and you push a button to start charging the phone. When the case's battery is low, you plug in either a lightning or a microUSB cable into it to charge the case battery.
I've had battery cases for years, and strongly suggest getting one.
in the same conditions
Brand new iPhone 6S and brand new iPhone 8 both of them running the later iOS version and same configurations
definitely the iPhone 8 has better battery life from 1 to 2 hours longer
there not reason to think about the result will be tide or the same just for few details
each newer generation is better comparing to the previous predecessor thats the goal of the manufacture offering better features and improvements
as Justin say the iPone 6S is technically 2 years old, less powerful per haves it will works harder pushing and forcing processor and battery in the later iOS version not matter if the battery is brand new in the end of the day will see the difference
Hello again
Like the subject field states: Thanks for all the valuable information. Luckely I have a good battery case. Come to think of it: Here is my very last question: Do you have to press the Home button like it is the case with previous models like the 6S or do you just swipe over it? Thanks in advance.
Hi still you have to press on the finger print sensor for the iPhone 7 and 8 series
the difference is considered no more as a physical button if not as a sensor where feel difference the response to press is similar as a trackPad of some Mac or windows laptop where will feel some click and vibration

What's new with iPhone 8?
You haven't been able to find a review podcast because one was never made.
The differences you will notice depend on your workflow and the particular phone you are upgrading from.
