I don't know the specifics of the entries that were changed here, but changing the Usability Rating of an App Directory Entry is only ever done to ensure that it most accurately reflects what's been said by the poster about the accessibility of the app and the ratings given for VoiceOver performance and button labeling.

For example, there are times when a poster will state that not all buttons are labeled and/or certain VoiceOver gestures don't work; or a feature of the app requires a workaround such as briefly disabling VoiceOver; but the app is given the “Fully Accessible” Usability Rating. In these cases, one of the site's Editorial Team may change the Usability Rating so that it is not misleading to other users or the developer. With at least one of the Team, it's not uncommon for them to go as far as installing and testing the app beforehand.

We do appreciate that the accessibility of an app can be subjective. However, if it's necessary to mention/acknowledge in the entry that there are some accessibility issues, rating the app as “Fully Accessible” would not be appropriate.

Thanks for responding. I do think subjectivity is at play here atleast a little bit.ButMaybe I was a little eager to label something fully accessible. lol
