I would like to know how to acknowledge upcoming events. I have one on April 29th. Bt, I don't know how to tell that person that I will be there. Any and all help would please be appreciated.
Hi. Have you tried clicking on the event and looking for the button? Also, try clicking on it in your notifications when you get 1 that says: let person's name know if you can make it to said event.
I don't use the events for anything other than birthdays. I'm going on how it's suposed to work... in theory at least. Hope this helps.
Hi. Not quite sure if you get email notifications for this kind of thing on Facebook, but if not, maybe turn them on. As the event gets closer, Facebook will send you reminders about it. I think the email will have links to click on for going or not.
The only other option I can think of for you to try, is to go into www.facebook.com
from Safari on your ipad. I suggest finding the event in your notifications, because that'll be probably the easiest way to get to it, then click on it. Afterword, spin the rotor to navigate by heading, and flick down until you get to the event, and see if it'll tell you that it's confirmed or not, or let you RSVP.
I know navigating that website is a pain, because I've had to do it a couple times myself, but I think sadly, that may be your only way of checking. I hope this helps and good luck to you.
