Warning about iTalk Recorder App

iTalk Lite a free voice recording app from Griffin technologies not only doesn't work with VO, it causes VO to stop working until you actually ree-enable it with "configure Universal Access" in iTunes. I loaded the app fine, but when I double-tapped "Record", I lost VO and the screen turned back on. (I can see that it is on and colors but cannot read it.) So I fully shut down my iPod. When I turned it back on, still no VO and tripple clicking home did not bring it back either. I had to run iTunes and use the "Enable Universal Access" button to get it back. If you'd like to also test, the free app is at http://itunes.apple.com/app/italk-recorder/id293673304?mt=8 I hesitate to put this in the app directory or contact the developer until someone else can confirm this behavior. --Debee

I didn't have to go so far as to reenable VoiceOver through ITunes, but this app definitely locked up VoiceOver, so much so that I eventually deleted the app entirely. I think I managed to get VO back by restarting my IPhone, but it definitely wasn't worth the trouble.
