Hi there! I was wondering if anyone could help me. I am trying to figure out how to delete messages that are on my Apple Watch using voice-over? I currently struggle to do this without sighted help. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much.

To delete a message thread, swipe up or down on the message. To remove a single message does not seem possible. I cannot do it. But to remove a tyhread just swipe up or down on the screen.

Hi Sabrina! Thank you very much! I will try that out next time I get a message. I thought you had to swipe side to side on the Conversation, but I guess that must be how you do it if you’re cited. X

Hi, the easiest way is to open the Messages app on your watch, swipe with one finger until VoiceOver focuses on a message, then swipe up or down with one finger and select the "Trash" option. Once you select it, you'll get two buttons, one that says "Cancel" and to the right, a "Trash" button. Tap the "Trash" button again to confirm and that's it.

Hope this helps!

Hi! Thank you very much. I’ll definitely try that. I know how to clear messages from notifications, so I’m guessing it’s roughly the same way. X

You got it, pretty much the same, except that extra step to confirm the deletion. It appears too that once iOS 11.3 is released, that will include iCloud Message syncing. So if you delete an message from your phone, Watch or Mac, it will also delete it from your other devices. I am especially looking forward to this as if I don't open my Mac regularly, I can come to it after a long while and have several dozen messages to delete and the worst part, I don't think you can delete them all in one shot on the Mac either, you have to delete one by one.

HTH!
