Apple has today released software updates for iOS, macOS, watchOS, and tvOS.
According to Apple's release notes via Mac Rumors, iOS 11.2.6 includes the following bug fixes:
iOS 11.2.6 includes bug fixes for your iPhone or iPad. This update:
Fixes an issue where using certain character sequences could cause apps to crash
Fixes an issue where some third-party apps could fail to connect to external accessories
According to Mac Rumors, today's macOS 10.13.3 Supplemental Update, watchOS 4.2.3, and tvOS 11.2.6 releases also contain fixes for the character bug.
As today's releases appear to be focused on very specific fixes, it is unlikely that today's releases contain any accessibility changes for blind and low vision users; however, if you do spot any changes, please do let us know by posting a comment below.
iOS 11.2.6 is available via Over-the-Air Update (Settings > General > Software Update) or via iTunes on a Mac or PC.
macOS 10.13.3 Supplemental Update is available via the updates tab in the Mac App Store.
watchOS 4.2.3 is available by going to the Watch app on your iPhone and navigating to General> Software Update. To install the update, your Watch must be connected to its charger and have at least 50% battery power.
To install tvOS 11.2.6, go to the Settings channel then look for the System section near the bottom. From here, look for Software Updates under Maintenance, then select Update Software and Download and Install.
