I have been sifting through the App Store and AppleVis entries looking for an accessible blood glucose tracking app. So far, I have not found such an app that works well with VoiceOver. The app only needs to do three simple things: 1) Allow me to enter blood glucose numbers, along with the date and time. 2) Allow me to enter the units of basal and/or bolus insulin taken. 3) Allow me to enter the amount of carbs eaten. Although not totally necessary, it would also be nice if it could give seven, fourteen, thirty, and ninety-day averages. If you are a person with diabetes, I am sure you are aware of the importance of tracking this information. It is possible to enter blood glucose numbers in the Health app, but it does not allow one to enter insulin taken or cards eaten.
Does anyone know of an app that does the above items and that works well with VoiceOver? If so, I would greatly appreciate a recommendation. On a side note, if I cannot find such an app, I may try to see what I can do about getting one created. If I were to have such an app created, is there anyone else who is interested in a totally accessible blood glucose tracking app?

Glucose - Blood sugar tracker
Hello,
I am not sure if the one in the title of this post does averages for 7, 14 days and so forth but I do know it shows the average on the first screen of the app. The app is very accessible and it is free. In the section where you add a reading it gives you the options to add your insulin and the number of carbs you are eating. There is an entry here on the applevis site. Its URL is:
https://www.applevis.com/apps/ios/medical/glucose-blood-sugar-tracker
What I like about this one is that it is a simple app to use. It is not complicated at all.
Thank You!
This is almost exactly what I was looking for. The only thing I wish it allowed me to do is add a second type of insulin. That said, I shall be using this app from now on and will most likely write to the developer to make suggestions. Thanks again!
