Is it possible to somehow record a podcast in stereo oon iPhone to iPad or the other way around?

iOS and iPadOS

I don’t have a computer. It is very important information. I only have my iPhone and iPad. And an Apple Watch but that’s not significant even though I sometimes record podcasts in mono on it.
I would like to know if there is a way to record stereo from one device to the other without first having a mixerboard and a lot of crap.
I can surely not afford both a mixerboard and a computer and am not planning to get a computer anytime soon.
If this is possible, I would gladly try it.

Nice timing Sabrina, LOL. I was wodering the same thing when I came onto this site, and saw your post.
Honestly, I don't know. And if you could, the apps or app may be paid.

There are definetly stereo microphones you can get with lightning conenctors for the Iphone. You get that iphone camera kit and you have even more options. I'd do a quick google search because there are actually various answers. As for recording, I don't know about the publishing aspect of a podcast, but I know there are good recording apps, such as Hokusai and Ferrite which act as quite accessible audio editors.

I will not need to have me on stereo; I have a dictaphone for that. I need things that are coming from my iPhone or iPad depending on if it is possible to actually do this. I think not but found it worth to ask.

That's pretty much the same answer. Unless you're planning to record the environment with one microphone while recording your voice with another? I do a ton of voice recording as an audio theatre creator so I do know a few things. If you're okay using the same stereo mic for both your environment and yourself, my above suggestions would work. If you're looking to use two microphones, that I actually don't know much about on IOS Devices. The problem with IOS devices is there's only one lightning port. If there's an audio interface you can plug in and then use two micrphones from there, that might work, but I'm not too sure.

I am not wanting to record myself or anything. I want to record the sound from my iPhone and I would like it if I could record my voice too but that isn’t the most important.
