Hello all.
I am writing a long book on my iPad using a bluetooth keyboard and using the native notes app. I would need an app to be able to read those notes wich are one chapter per note. I need something to read this because VoiceOver is often interupted and uncooperative. :-) i get dice world notifications, haypi monster notifications, vorail and other stuff and if I press a button it stops reading and then I will have to search for the place I was by pressing VO´+F. It works that way but is there a more efficient way?

Hello. I'm a little confused by your post. So you're using the notes app to write in, one chapter per onte. But are you wanting to send text from said notes app into another app? And so you lose your place in the document whenever a notification comes in, is that also correct? As a writer who has dabbled in the travest that is writing on an IOS device, I feel confident telling you there's almost any app you could be using that would be better. The notes app is great, don't get me wrong, but I'd never want to write a long composition in it for all sorts of reasons, chief among them being the lack of any formatting and need for ITunes. It harkens back to the days of writing on a Braille Lite, something that, barring the lack of formatting options actually would be preferable as it was really easy to pull out, turn on and not get bloody lost! You could use Pages or Word, though if you're planning on writing exclusively on your IOS device, you might try Voicedream Writer as well. it's got some pretty good navigation options. You just can't import most document types with it. Scivner for IOS is apparently really great also, though I have no personal experience with it .

Until you decide on an app, go into settings and turn on do not disturb while you’re writing.

I prefer the notes app and will never stop using it. It is easy to use and the folders are great and the app is completely free and built in. It has worked good for me to write books for years.
