watchOS and Apple Watch Apps

Hi. I got my first Apple Watch Siri 3 as a gift for Christmas. So far I'm loving it!! I'm still learning it. So I have a few questions. My first question is how do I close the apps out and how do I go to the app switcher? Is there a lock orientation? How do I turn the volume up and down with or with out airpods? Last question I got for now is what fun apps and games is there for apple watch? For some reason the Hatchi apple watch app doesn't work. Also. If you have any suggestions in general that will help. Thanks for any answers you can give.

Hello,
The answer to your first question is that on the watch there is no app switcher. You do not need to close out apps like that. Once you hit the digital crown to go back to the watch face the app is closed. Secondly, there is no lock orientation. TO raise or lower the volume you do a double tap and hold then you slide your two fingers either up or down the screen.

After you told me how to turn the volume up and down I tried and it worked. Thank you for that and the other answers.

Wrist hangman, but this costs, Mu watch pet, I just discovered that app. It is a pet game with rpg elements. Yes, Hatchi does not work for blind or visually impaired for some reason I cannot understand at all. You could look at watchling too wich is a pet game and you are presented with unlabeled buttons but if you press the ... button or force touch on your screen, this will provide text actions. Break this safe, though not my type of game, is also there. This uses the taptic feature. I know of a few more games but I will have to check.

Also, if you like to record, you can geeeet Aurora Recorder, wich is free, or Just Press Record, wich costs 5 Dollars or even TinyMik wich is free. I don’t understand how to play Watchling so maybe this isn’t the best. I am open for other app suggestions as well. I play yatzy world wich is not really accessible, but it can almost be played on the watch and then I mean almost, and it is easier on the watch but you cannot see the dice you have selected so I do NOT recomend this. My best suggestion is for you to look through the app store and the Apple Watch app directory. I found most of my apps on the app store in the watch appppp on iPhone.

This game can be played with patience, though I haven’t gotten the hang of stuff yet. I will ask my staff tomorrow if she can help me and then I can give better instructions, but this is playable, since I am at level four. I often look for things in the watch app on my iPhone and often find something good. I love pet games. There was an app called Little Ben, but it has become inaccessible. It worked very well before but now it doesn’t work again. I tried getting my staff to activate things but even if she did, it wouldn’t hold. This is a clock app with time counter or hourly chimes. Zello works on the watch, though you need to have the phone around closely because the app does not record from the watch but records via the phone wich isn’t all too reliable if you have it somewhere further away but can come in handy if you are on the go. Hmm, I try to think of other apps. Also invisible dragons and fruitpot are good, though I haven’t messed around with Fruitpot. Invisible dragons work just fine on the watch though it is a bit tricky first. I love that game. I hope you really enjoy your apple watch and love it, just like I do. What an awesome christmas present! I wish I could get that but I guess I can’t. Oh, and happy new year to all apple watch users!

Hi,

Yes, I am excited. I got the Series 3, GPS version as a late Christmas present, from my friend Michelle. It is not the LTE version, but since I'm usually near my phone, that isnt a huge bother to me. Congrats to everyone else who got their Apple Watches as well.

Merry Christmas, and a happy new year, to those who celebrate!!
