Hi.
I'm just wondering, is somethin else going to remove all three of their games from the app store? I know papa sangre and the nightjar will removed. But what about papa sangre ii and audio defense? Both of those still work.

As far as I know, they're planning to update their games one last time, then they will be removed.

I think they'll all be removed eventually, it's only a matter of time.

Does anyone know how I can get this back?
I emailed the dev some time back but heard nothing.
I still have this on my iPod touch 5th gen, but it doesn't have a gyro for playing. I find tilt and swipe very boring.
I'd love to transfer it from my iPod touch 5th gen as it's no longer available in the AppStore.
Any tips for how I can get this onto my iPhone again?

Cheers,
Barry.

Hi,

Is there anyway I can get this from my iPod touch 5th generation back to my iPhone?
I think I tried it with iTunes and it wouldn't transfer the app for some reason.

Thanks,
Barry.

Unless your iPhone is running iOS9 or earlier, for good stability, probably not.

Hi,
Thanks for replying. That's a real shame. Naw my iPhone is an iPhone 8 running IOS v11.2.

Barry.

Yeah it's a 32-bit app, so it won't run on iOS11. Maybe someday someone will be able to convert the games. Like you, I miss them all quite a bit. They were great.

Back when the developers of these games were stopping support for them, they announced (and I for some reason believed them) that they would make the engine behind them open source. This probably would not have allowed us to bring back the games, as we might also need the specific storyboard files, but it might have done so. For some reason, the company has elected not to release the source despite the fact that they are doing nothing with it and I and some other people expressed interest in working on it at the time. The same happened when Fleksy stopped existing. If we ever get this code, I'm willing to work with it. I'm rather confident that I'll never get the chance.

It's been a while since I could play Sangre II without crashing. Since I've updated my IOS each time an update was available, the game crashes. Kind of a drag, since I paid for the game. I hope there's a workaround.

I had The Night Jar, and the two Papa games. I finished the first Papa Sangre, but I find the 2nd one crashes since the updates to IOS.
Really, if someone's paying for a game or app, the company should stick with it.
