Good game
I hope that Zany Touch comes to the Australian App Store very soon.
this is not a new title
i am surprised it has taken so long to mention this game it has been around hor several years or has it altered since its initial release?
Been Around but a Goody!
Hello Will,
Yes, this is not a new title or a new game at all. As mentioned in this podcast I mentioned at the beginning of the podcast that this has been around for many years. I was also surprised that this had never been reviewed or had a podcast. So, I thought it rightfully deserved one! ;)
My main reasoning for making this podcast was to reach those that have never heard of this game and for people to know that this can be used as a learning tool to teach those new to the devices the various gestures that might help when trying to grasp how to perform a gesture.
flipit much better
hi annonymouse try the game flipit!
Zany Touch is already in the
Zany Touch is already in the australian app store.
make sure you type it as two words and not one.
I think it comes up as zany touch lite. It's free to download, with in app purchases.
Thank You!!
As the developer of Zany Touch I just wanted to express my thanks for such a wonderful, thorough and helpful review of the app. I'm intrigued to hear that it is being used for training as well as just for fun. That is simply fantastic. If there is anything we can do to make it a better app please don't hesitate to let me know.
Great app!
I love this game. I'm also sad that Flip It is no longer supported. That was a great game.
my thoughts
Always glad to see an app developer who actually engages with their user base.
I'm not sure if this is a possible bug, or after a certain level, the game is unable to be paused.
I noticed this when I'm around the 100, 150 mark, it's around the time when you don't get those little pauses in the game where the little kid says stuff like faster faster.
I think it's around the levels of insane fast where I encounter this.
It would be great if you could please look into this, because, let's face it, even though you lose points for pausing, it is a very useful feature.
I would also like to be able to somehow check my current score. Could your score be read out automatically if you are using voiceover?
Another quirk I seem to have found is after one of my game centre friends started playing.
It use to tell me my score over all in game centre, but when you start to have your game centre friends play, it lists your ranking among friends.
You actually need to look through the game centre scores to see your over all rank
Try scrolling through over 800 players on easy and find your score.
It is a lot easier when you don't have game centre friends playing cause then it just tells you.
Apart from that, it is a nice little time waster.
Nice Podcast
I love this game but in Sweden it is called Zany Touch Lite. Don't know why. This link does not work. You gave me a good laugh there.
