Anybody with an iPad Mini 4 updated to IOS 11 and the updates beyond? I'm asking because I can't update mine. I do all the steps and then I'm stuck where it says "requesting update" and nothing happens. Updates don't usually take up so much time. Do these newer updates take time? I've been wating for an hour now for it to start the update. Thanks for any help.

Running iOS 11 just fine
My iPad Mini 4 has been running iOS 11 just fine, and I have received updates normally through 11.2.1, the current release.
It does take a while to download and prepare, but not overly so. I think from the time I request the update to the time it asks to install is around 5 to 10 minutes, and the installation itself takes somewhere between 10 and 20 minutes, depending on the size of the update. The time it takes is about the same as it was for iOS 10.
Once, years ago, I had difficulty getting an update to download, but restarting the device fixed the issue.
