Focus 14 Blue braille display and Kindle

hi do you not find it difficult to use a 14-cell display to read with kindle? does it not take a while to read through one page? i want a braille display myself, to read, but am unsure if a 14-cell will cut it. thanks Will p.s. i want to know about the page turning too.

try space plus dots 1 4 5 6.
to go up a page try space plus 3 4 5 6.
these commands are somewhat standardized by defalt. maybe it will work.

Hi, I have the same problem with a Refreshabraille 18. It has worked fine in the past, and since iOS 11.2 was released, I haven't been able to read with the Kindle app with my braille display since. I've reported it to Apple, but another report can't hurt. It's not just your ddisplay.

I have been having trouble getting various displays to pan when i am reading a book. I tried with word wrap on and off, and got the same result. Text will scroll for a few display lengths, and then panning to the next increment causes the display to skip text. It doesn't just happen when i encounter a new page. I have reported the problem to Apple and Amazon. It's hard to tell where the problem started as there have been so many iOS updates, and updates to the Kindle app. It would be interesting to see if this problem happens in the Amazon VoiceView screenreader which now has Braille support for a limited number of displays. Since I don't have a supported display, I wouldn't be able to tell if this issue is amazon's problem. I could try the Kindle app on an Android device using BrailleBack, but then I wouldn't be able to read in Grade Two Braille.
It's interesting that other people have reported the same problem here. I was really enjoying my Kindle books, and now I cant' read them. It seems that Braille support in iOS has gone from bad to worse.
