When my macbook first starts and gets to where I would press control option shift down arrow to select myself as the user, Voiceover says "installer progress has no window". Its been stuck like that for about 45 minutes. What does it mean?
I have no idea why but when I went back to the computer to try what you suggested I was able to sign in. So I guess I just had to wait. Thank you so much for replying!
If you encountered that problem next time, you can also restart VoiceOver. that should fix the problem. I also experienced this problem when I was using Sierra, but I fix that by restarting VoiceOver. But I never encountered this problem again in High Sierra though. And I have also disabled the guest user on my Mac, so when I turn on the computer, it took me straight to the login window which I could enter my password directly without having to go through the user selection area.
hi guys
Basically during the installation process the only thing to do is wait until ended the installation
when voiceOver gives the feat back busy is when rebooting VO can help however doing this not always works
Note don't try to reboot or shut down your Mac during the installation process because most of the times can be interrupted and can cause the computer crash and most of the time you have to use system recovery to fix it if you don't have backup will loose your information and you have to starve in able to use the Mac.

Disabling the guest user account would be extremely helpful
Thank you for mentioning this. I didn't know we could get rid of the guest account. Will be my project today
