watchOS and Apple Watch Apps

hello applevis community! greetings and happy thanks giving day!

I'm planning to buy the apple watch 3 gps because apple says that the LTE version will not work traveling abroad because not all country support same number with the 2 sim card own.

anyway, before I buy this precious kind of technology which is smart watch can I ask for those who own now this watch this following questions,

1. does the watch will speak the time automatically if you raise your arms like the concept of raise to awake of iPhones?.
2. how's the battery usage? what is the actual average use of the watch if you set the all power saving options, something like that.
3. waht is your voice over feedback about this watch?
4. is this worth to buy and why, just for your opinion.

sorry for my long post just for the sake of my taking the plunge in the watch 42 mm. any answer are much appreciated!

thanks

Hello, i have not Apple Wotch but i have the previous generation, Apple Watch too. To my nolage, i not see significant changes that worth to buy him. I don't know about VoiceOver feedback in Apple Wotch, in Apple Wotch 2 that i have it's tereble. It has bieing improved, but i think that in version 4.1 s a litlle beat beter. to me in my cuntry heere in israel, the selular version doesn't supported, so ia'm unterstand you. Without a selular connectivity it doesn't worth to buy it to my nolage.

I purchased the applewatch 3. I had the appplewatch 1st generation, so I see this as a huge upgrade.
Voiceover behaves as expected, and the watch works very fast in my opinion, I can last for 2 days with the battery. I use it for work outs, and reading notifications and my calendar true the day.

@Vincent van Itallie, does the 2 days battery is you always use that watch without taking it off to your wrist? or do you shut it off if you are not using it? and one more question does it received phone calls coming from the paired iPhone?

So it will not transfer phone calls to your watch, how about if you raise your arms does watch speaks the time automatically?

The watch battery lasts about 2 days of normal use, provided you aren't making a lot of calls or using maps a lot, for example.

It is an excellent fitness tracker, and Voice Over works well on it. Some things are not available on it because of the screen size, however. You're limited to 1 and 2 finger gestures. Keep in mind that it is supposed to be a supplemental device, not to take the place of your iPhone.

That said, unless you are actively using your phone at the time, calls, texts and all other notifications will go to your watch. The S3 has a quite impressive microphone. I'm told by people that I have called with it that it is actually clearer than my iPhone or Airpods. Of course the speaker is small, however, so airPods or other bluetooth headset is recommended for an extended conversation.

The watch does have raise to wake, as well as the ability to wake when the face is pointed upward. However, it does not announce the time automatically. You have to touch the screen. However, if you double tap the screen while it is locked, it will vibrate the time to you, which I find very handy to finding out how much longer I have to sit through meetings without being obvious about it.

While not strictly a necessary device, I personally really enjoy my watch, for numerous reasons. If you get one, I hope that you enjoy it as well.

Hope this helps.
