It might be a little late for an answer now, but it doesn't feel right to leave this post just without a reply.
While I am not sure about whether your phone reset and restore would keep the savegame intact, I wanted to let you know that the latest version of the game - version 1.75 - will have cloud save. That way you can ensure that your progress isn't lost.
This version is currently in beta. If you are still planning to reset your phone, and want to safeguard your progress, let me know and I can add you to the beta tester list.

Hello,Thank you for your response. I backed my phone up to iTunes and restored it after reset. My data was not lost.
