Hello apple friends,
I recently purchased an apple watch series 3 running watch os 4.1
I have almost no issues using the watch and it is a good experience,
However, i can't seem to be able to turn off the waterlock feature after enabling it.
I read in the forumns that turning the digital crown away from me would turn it off but it is not working for me.
Any help would be greatly appreciated,
Thank you so much
Arvind

water lock
Hi Arvind,
I swim with my Apple watch 5 days a week and use the water lock.
For me, I just keep rotating the digital crown away from me until the water drop bursts. I assume with voiceover you get some indication ?
Hi scott
Hi scott,
I tried turning the digital crown till my fingers sore, but nothing happened,
I am able to return the watch to normal only after re starting it,'any other ideas friends;smiley
Rotating the digital crown to
Rotating the digital crown to switch off waterlock works only when you toggle crown navigation to off. So you either turn the crown navigation to off by tapping twice with two fingers on the screen or maybe you have just to place your watch on the charging dock even for a second as waterlock automatically stops when the watch is charging.
Hi Maldalain
Dear maldalain,
You're a life saver,
I didn't know that you have to turn off the navigation with the crown for it to work,
Now i am finally able to turn off the waterlock,
Thank you so much
Do you have any ideas where i could get more apple watch tips like that,
Thanks again,
Arvind
Thank you as well!
Just got watch and said hey what does that app do?
Then got in a loop and could not get out of it like a mean dog on a bone.
water log
I have nav on and I am able to turn it off. Using Series 5. When I was using series 3, sometimes I needed to turn VO off to make it work. Now with series 5, is so fast that I do not hear the sound of turning water log off.
