I've been using iOS 11.1 for less than twenty-four hours. I updated from 10.3.3 yesterday.
I've been using Safari off and on since I updated, and when checking iPhone Storage, I noticed it's over 80 MB. I don't know how it's eating up that much space, and it keeps getting bigger. I've deleted my history, went into Advanced and removed my website data... If it's this large after less than a day, I'd hate to see its size in a week.
Does anyone know anything I can do to stop this from happening?

only thing I can think of
This is the only thing I can think of. I can think of other things, but they'd sound ludicris heck, they sound it to me thinking them!
The logical part of my brain is saying clear your cookies. Mine is only taking up a very miniscuel amount of storage. We're talking kilobytes.
I'll suggest the crazy things here too because you never know. Try and clear out some of your bookmarks. Also, how many tabs do you have open? Double tap and hold the tabs button, and hit the button that says close x amount of tabs. Also, take a look in your favorites and clear them out too! I cannot see how the bookmarks and favorites would be hogging memory, and even what memory it does use, it'd be so small, I don't think you'd notice it!
But, those are the only things I can think of. I know you've probably done some if not all of those things already, but this would be my jump-off point. Good luck and hope this helps!
Thank You
Thanks for your reply! I have done everything on your list β except deleting bookmarks/favorites. Like you said, theyβd take up so little space that itβs not even worth attempting.
