Good day, can I listen to, or download a podcast using the Ios built in podcast app that are not on their list? I did insert the Earl into the appropriate field, but the search is allways unsuccesfull. I must add that there are 4 programme series of the relevant radio station already on the list.

I always use Downcast as a more reliable player. You may also find success searching by name. Remember that the URL will probably need to be to the RSS feed, not to the website of the podcast, if you're going the direct URL route.
Podcast or radio station?
Is your source a podcast or radio station? They are different. As the previous response indicates, you need to specify an RSS feed for a podcast. A radio station will be an audio stream. Just specifying a website URL will likely not work for either.
