Hi! Ever since updating to iOS 11, my Siri voice is stuck in low quality. That is, I believe it was like this on my iPhone 7 after updating too, but then I switched to a new iPhone 8 that of course came preinstalled with iOS 11, so don't take my word for it! :)
Anyway, on my iPhone 8, now running iOS 11.0.3, the Siri voice is still low quality, and it seems like nothing I can think of will fix it.
I live in Norway, so Siri uses the same voice as my norwegian VO Voice. The voice I use for VO speach is downloaded for high quality and sounds great, but still Siri is using the low quality voice.
So the high quality norwegian voice is already on my phone, but still Siri prefers to sound like a drunk owl with a handkerchief stuffed down her throat!
The wierd thing is that when I checked both my wife and my fathers iPhones, all running the latest release of iOS, Siri sounds just like my high quality norwegian VoiceOver voice, and all is good! It seems like only I, have to be haunted by this awefull bad quality Siri voice!
I've tried everything I can think of, I've switched Siri language to portugese, and talked gibberish with her for a while in my fake-portugese accent, and then back again to norwegian to see if that might force her to change her mind, and perhaps also force my iPhone to redownload the good voice, if for some reason VO and Siri needs to have their own separate copy of the high quality voice. No go.
I've tried turning Siri off and back on again, but to no use.
So as a last resort, I tried a total DFU mode reset of the phone, and restored from a fresh iTunes backup, but still she refuses to behave!
Can it be some of my settings are doing this to me? So restoring from a iTunes backup put back the same settings as I had before and again caused Siri to speak with this garbage voice?
Why is it working fine on everybody elses phones, running the same exact iOS version as I do?
Do any of you have any good suggestions for me to try?
I'm using Siri several times a day, and this is starting to make me both quite sad and mad, and probably many other words that ends with -ad too! Haha!
But if anyone of you awesome folks in the AppleVis community could help me solve this Siri crises I'm having, I would be forever thankful! :)

WiFi?
This might be very ovbious, but sometimes little details can make a difference, thus I wonder are you on WiFi, and does your iPhone see the WiFi connection and is working well with it? Hope this helps some.
Wifi
Thanks for your suggestion! :)
But yes, my iPhone has the same Wifi connection as the other "working" iPhones here, and Siri has also previously worked fine on 3G or 4G.
And just to clarify, Siri is working just fine, and does everything I ask her to do, but the voice she uses is just crap. It is very obviously the low quality voice, the same voice that VoiceOver uses for my norwegian speech before I choose and download the high quality voice after a factory reset of the phone, or if setting up a new phone for the first time.
