This may seem like a stupid question, but I am very new to iPad and I am even more new to iOs 11. I know how to turn of an app in split view but I cannot turn off an app in slideover. I currently have gmail and Safari open, wich works like fine but I cannot find out how I close Safari without actually going to the app switcher and turning both apps off simultaniously. I am particularly new to this. I got my iPad right before iOs 11 and didn’t know how to do it in iOs 10 but didn’t actually learn how to do this, but I learned it in iOs 11. Now I can do most things except turning up an app in slideover. I think I am fine with other things.

Not a stupid comment at all.
Not a stupid comment at all. The total lack of documentation on how voiceover works with this new iOS 11 stuff is a pain.
The only method I've found to dismiss or manage a slideover app is to find what's called a grabber. I'll give as much detail as I can, but it's a pain.
An example. My iPad is locked in landscape, home button to the right. Safari is open, notes floating to the right. Go up to the status bar on the right where notes is. Find the clock. Just under that will be a thing called notes grabber. If you can find it the actions rotor will let you change where it's floating and dismiss it. The problem is its very fiddly. Very tiny movements around that part of the status bar are the only way, and sometimes I still can't find it.
I'm sure I'll discover a much simpler method, but this is the only one I've found so far.
Thanks
That worked. Thank you. It is a bit tricky but it works that way.
