Hi, I am having a problem where I get a message and my notifications are set on banners. My phone dings when it's locked and on my old phone I would unlock it and the message would flash up as a banner, but on my new phone it doesn't flash up when I unlock the phone. Any reason for this.

Notification settings
Go to settings > notifications > iMessage and make sure that "banners" is turned on.
