Hello community. If anyone has bought the iPhone 8 could you please tell me whether using apps like knfb reader, seeing ai and tap tap see are faster? I currently have an iPhone 6 and I am wondering if it is worth spending £699 on the iPhone 8. Thank you for your help.

5s to 8
I am loving my iPhone 8! I am impressed with how fast it is, and how easily it manages tasks such as using the KNFB Reader. Granted, I moved from a 5s, so the difference for me would be greater than for someone who moved from an 6s :)
I am loving every minute of the 8, and I am looking forward to trying Seeing AI when it arrives to Australia :)
I also think the sound is pretty nice, and to be honest, I have not been bothered by the missing headphone jack at all, mainly because I use Airpods, but it can be good to keep in mind. You still get an adapter in the package though. Furthermore, I am loving the wireless charging, and while plugging in a cable is not a huge thing, wireless charging is one of those small things that makes life easier!
What about the Siri voice?
Anyone using the new American Siri female voice on the iPhone 8? Is it responsive on there?
Loving my new iPhone 8
I've had my new iPhone 8 since they were released on September 22 and I'm loving it. I upgraded from an iPhone 6, so I got a few more new features than others who upgrade from newer phones. For instance, 3D Touch and Hey Ciri.
The iPhone 8 definitely seems snappier and more responsive. One of the most obvious improvements that I've noticed is with the phone functions. The 2-finger double tap for answering and hanging up have worked much, much more reliably and consistently on my new iPhone. So does the automatic switching between earpiece and speaker phone. These functions were inconsistent on my iPhone 6. I sometimes had to make multiple attempts to answer a phone call or switch to speaker phone using my iPhone 6, but I've had no such problems with my new phone.
I do use the new Ciri voice and love it. It's just as responsive (if not more so) as Ciri was on my iPhone 6. In fact, I really like the Hey Ciri feature and use it frequently now. And I'm really impressed with the new Ciri voice. I like it much better than the previous Ciri voice which I think they are calling Nicki now.
I've not missed the headphone jack so far. The included earbuds work just as they always have and sound every bit as good. And the adaptor works for my other wired headsets.
Likewise, the pho home button hasn't been difficult to adjust to. I can tell the difference, but it's just different, not a problem. And the faster finger print reader amazes me. It's almost like not having to use it at all. By the time I press the home button, my phone just unlocks.
Everything else seems "crisper" and snappier too. Opening apps, flicking around the screen, it all seems very responsive. I'm very happy I upgraded.
