Hello people, I am new to this, so patients please, as this may be posted in the wrong place.
I have just installed High Sierra and find that all my files and folders are now treated as a group. This means that I must interact with them individually. Hopefully someone will point out that I am a dummy, and tell me how to change this. Generally I have quick nav on, and use column view. Any help would be welcome.

Hi, Disable quick navigation by pressing left and right arrows simultaneously. Then you can use arrow navigation to navigate by files/folders in finder.
HTH, and if ya need anything else, don't hesitate to ask!

That's better, sierra wasn't like that. I wonder why they changed it.
