Description of App
Blindfold Bop Gesture Game is a fully accessible action game designed for learning and practicing iPhone and iPad gestures. If you've been using iPhones for a while, this is a challenging game that forces you to go faster and faster, similar to the "Bop-It" game. If your visually impaired clients are new to the iPhone, this game will teach them gesture, and make it fun to practice their gestures. You are told to perform 3 of the gestures in the following list: tap with 1 finger, tap with 2 fingers, swipe in any direction, and shake the phone. The game speeds up at each level, and in each level, you must perform the requested gestures. You have two seconds to perform the gesture, otherwise it's a mistake. The game is over when you've made 3 mistakes. You get one point for each correct gesture. You can play the game at easy, medium, hard or very hard difficulty; the game goes from performing any of 3 gestures to performing any of 10 gestures. You can play against another person by passing your phone back and forth. Blindfold Bop Gesture Game was suggested by several TVIs (teachers of visually impaired clients).

Sounds like fun
It sounds like fun. I should give it a try. Thank you, Marty, for the grandiose work you do.
zany touch
isn't it zany touch? What is the difference?
And, dear blindfold games admins, thank you for working for us
re: zany touch
There is a tiny difference, there are more gestures, and multiplayer support for you to pass the device back and forth.
HTH.
Another difference
Another difference is that the Zany touch games are endless and you are only given 1 chance. Would it be possible to include an endless game mode to Blindfold Bop with increasing difficulty as the game progresses? This is already a cool game but this would make the game more challenging and fun.
Yes an endless mode would
Yes an endless mode would be nice.
Oh and another thing, maybe more tunes to choose from. The xylophone is pretty cool, but more tunes could be nice.
seriously?
Sorry to all who love this game, but I have several Things that I don't like about this game:
1. ONLY ONE COIN TO PLAY FOR FREE?! This is not good, because to really try out the game you have to Play it several times. And to give the Player only one coin to Play is just insane.
2. PAYING FOR MULTI-PLAYER MODE: I understand that you have to pay for advanced single-Player game modes, but making someone pay for multiplayer mode is unfair because this is the only Thing that is truly fun about this game.
Those were the two Things I hate about this game.
Have a nice day and feel free to say anything you want about my post.
regarding the last post
Regarding the last post, I agree. IMHO it's a bad marketing tactic to do something like this. Just charge for the game from the get go, I say. Even if it's only a buck or two.
One coin
If you encountered the one coin problem in Bop, that's fixed now. Just re-download it. If it still only gives you one coin, tap the restore button in the get upgrades screen.
As to two-player mode - that's the same way simon and some other games were set up. Most people play bop by themselves; a small group play with someone else, passing the phone back and forth. The game is priced for only a few dollars, and the two player mode is pretty cheap too.
More tunes
Do you think I should put in an upgrade to chose music from your library?
Zany Touch
Some more differences are that you can also pick which gestures you want to select from. As to endless mode, I'm not sure it's a good idea to make it faster and faster - at some point, it becomes almost impossible. I tested that during beta testing. However, I could keep it at the highest speed and let you collect more and more points. Let me know.
Passing back and forth
Many people in the blindness community are on fixed income, so I try to make a basic version of the game as cheap as possible, but enough to cover the development and marketing expenses. Extra features, such as passing it back and forth, are not used by most of the players, so including it, and then raising the price by another dollar or two would mean a bunch of people could not afford it, nor would they use that feature. I tend to price things simply: I guess how many people will upgrade to that feature based on how many got a similar feature in other games, and divide the cost to build it by that many people.
In addition, I usually create a bundle with all features at a discount price, so you have everything you need.
Endless mode
All you would need to do is keep the game at the highest speed and that way we can try and accumulate as many points as possible.
Endless mode
I'm adding that
How do I die in endless mode?
I have this game now and love it. But I would like to know how many misstakes that can be done before game is over. Because
Endless mistakes
I think it's 3 mistakes, plus one more for each level you complete. Check the user guide.
yay!
Buying the game tomorrow. I am a very experienced iPhone user but this game will still cool and challenging.
I LOVE endless games.
Thanks
I'm thinking of more similar games like that.
