Finding in Text Edit

Hi
I'm using my 2015 MacBook Air at school. I'm using Text Edit. I don't find pages numbers from my books. I enter the page number in the find field and press enter but there is also other Text from the book. Why is it so? Am I doing something wrong that I can't find right things immediately?

Are you using VO F or the find command in TextEdit? I have found VO F to be generally more reliable.
