Accessibility Comments

The app can not be used with voice over. I was able to log in to my spotify account, access the menu bar and the search edit, but not much else. All other controls with in the spotify window can not be accessed with voice over.

Usability

Some parts of the app are accessible with VoiceOver, but not enough to make it usable.

Other Comments

Considering how accessible the IOS part of spotify is, it's a pitty the mack app is so VO unaware. For now, I'd suggest use the web player available in www.spotify.com until the issues are fixed in a future version.

Spotify For IOS

I have had my iPhone 5S for a little over a week. I downloaded the Spotify app. I was pleasantly surprised to see that there seemed to be only one unlabeled button, the Activities button. I'll continue to look into this app, in case there is user error on my part, since I'm a brand new iPhone user.

I wasn't even able to log

I wasn't even able to log into my account. All I get is a text object that says spotify. Everything in all the menu bars are dimmed. I agree, this is very strange that the pc and iOS versions are accessible, but the mac is not.

I just purchased my Mac Book Air less than two days ago, and while I'm a bit overwhelmed by all the new fancy stuff, I realize that this operating system will take me a bit to get used to, since I have used windows practically all my life. Anyway, I currently have a Spotify premium account, and have tried to log in, but I'm only met with images, and no useable field with voiceover with which to type my information. I will be sending an email to the developers this afternoon, but I did here that someone was able to get Spotify to work with some plugin. Is this true?

that client will only work if you have the official spottify app installed and running. It's more of an extension than anything else. why they didn't just make a full-fledged spottify client that didn't need to have the official one running, I'll never know.
