Hi AppleVis community
Voice Dream writer sounds like a great app. I am thinking of buying it but I have a couple of questions,
1 Can you copy a document from writer to google docs or drive?
And can you copy a google doc into writer?
I hope this would be worth the purchase.

Copying to/from Google Docs
Hi Maria,
It is possible to copy both ways; to and from Google Drive that I know of.
You can also export files into different formats.
I find purchasing the app was worth the price.
How...
How can I find the copy to writer option when I want to import a document from Google Drive/docs into writer? When I click more in the share sheet, Writer doesn't appear as one of the options. Do you need iCloud Drive enabled to store your documents in iCloud instead of locally? I hope this makes sense.

ICloud Drive
Hi,
You have to go into Setting on your device and turn ICloud Drive on, so that Writer can see it. I also have VoiceDream Reader. The apps complement each other nicely. I got Reader soon after I got my device. I like to read Bookshare books with it. One of the nicest features of Writer is that it has the Outline feature, which gives you a good idea of document structure. Another great feature is the Word Finder, which helps you find the right word, which is nice, if you are a writer. If you happen to have a blue tooth keyboard, Writer includes lots of key strokes for using the features.
Also Debating The Purchase
Hi all! I am also debating the purchase of Voice Dream Writer. I am a fantasy writer, and I am looking for an outline tool that will let me easily rearrange chapters and plot points for my novel outlines. I have been typing everything into the MS Powerpoint app until now, but moving slides is quite tedious with VoiceOver. Has anyone used the outline tool in Voice Dream Writer for this purpose? Would you say that the app is worth the purchase? Thanks for the help!

Nice functionality, but limited
I really want to like this app. It's fantastic for actually writing and navigating in. But for someone who moves between writing on a PC and an Ipad, being unable to import Word documents is a huge let down. If they can ever implement that functionality, that would make things much easier.
