weather app that gives alerts for exact location?

Hi all,

I have an iPhone 7 and I'm looking for a weather app that will alert me when there's any severe weather near me, such as tornadoes or severe thunderstorms. I live in Texas and I have gotten flash flood warning alerts on occasion, but I have a local tv station's app installed and I'm not sure if those alerts are coming from the station's app or if it's coming from one of the weather apps I have installed.

I think I've also gotten tornado or severe thunderstorm warnings on occasion, but those warnings are for my county and not for my specific area. Btw I live more or less in the middle of the county so what I want may not even be possible.

One of the apps that I like to use is Storm Shield.

I'm not sure whether this will provide you with alerts specific enough for what you require, but having tried out a few weather apps recently I've come to the conclusion Weather Gods is the best yet for providing me with weather warnings in the town where I live, and so far the information it has provided me has been very accurate.

I would recommend Weather Radio, made by WDT, (Weather Decision Technologies). This one will not give things like rain alerts, but for major events like storms, it uses your location specifically, and you can customize several types of significant weather alerts. It does come with a bit of a price, but to me it's been worth it.

I have weather gods, and unless I just don't have it configured right it doesn't give me alerts for my exact location just the town I live in. My town isn't that big, but if there's a tornado alert for example I would like to know if it's in my area or on the other side of town.

I saw something on applevis last night about this weather radio app and I also saw info on the app called storm shield. I'm going to find podcasts on those 2 apps and I'll likely use one of those based on what I find out from the podcasts.
