Introducing a new app: EverDex!

A team of people (including me) have developed an app by the name of EverDex. Available in the App Store, with google play coming out sometime next week. We would love for you to try it.
EverDex is your virtual business card Rolodex. Keep all your business cards in your pocket, readily accessible at a moment's notice. Rest assured that the information will always stay updated. What you decide to share will always be up to you.
When you download the app, you will be asked to put in your name, phone, and e-mail address. This builds your virtual business card within the app.
Now here comes the fun part: when you wish to exchange phone numbers with someone else who has the app, simply shake your phones at the same time, in the same room, and... bam! Their number will instantly appear in the "connections" tab, at the same time your number appears in their connections. You have simply "dexed" (exchanged business cards). Best part: if you update your information, then all your connections will receive your updated information the next time they go to view their connections, thanks to our private and secure server.
As a voice over user myself, I have personally checked the app for accessibility, so I can tell you right now that the app is quite accessible. However, if you have any feedback, access or otherwise, feel free to post it here, or e-mail or call the "EverDex" connection from within the app. I encourage you to try it and show it to all your friends.

This sounds really neat. Does the app need to be open in order to share a contact?

In order to share a contact, the app needs to be open. The reason is we do not want people accidentally sharing contacts due to accidental shakes in the users' pockets as they walk. lol. We found out the hard way during beta testing

That is the answer I hoped you would give. LOL

Is there any feature requests anyone wants to see, for those who have signed up? For those who haven't, then try it!

Hi Techluver, thank you for your app. Let me start with the drawbacks. When creating your profile, there is a field labeled email. After that there is a field which says plus 1. While for someone living in the north america can now that you suppose to enter your area code, for someone living in other country this may not be so clear. Therefore I would have one field labeled something like enter your phonenumber including a country code if needed. Also I think many people use different social platforms and you may want to have options to include these platforms there, not as a mendatory fields though. I believe it would be need if you could share the idea about this app though the contacts that you have on your phone. So after log in there could be one of the tabs share this app with your friends. Also you could share the information about this app not with all contacts but with the one whom you choose to share it with. You could also share the information with someone accross the room who is not in your contacts. Imagine you are talking to someone and he wants to give you a business card, you tell them about the application and he / she tells you that "i don't have it". In this case you could send this person an invite from this app, based on his email or phone number.
