Best Detailed weather for the Apple Watch

watchOS and Apple Watch Apps

The stock weather app does not give me the details I would like, and in an easy to understand format and layout. I know a lot of the weather apps offer watch apps. Instead of having to install all of them, I was hoping for some input and advise on which work best. I am looking for something that will give good details, and not just the current temp.

I suggest you check out Weather Gods. You'll have to spend $3, but it's worth the money. You have detailed weather broken down, and you've got daily and hourly forecasts on the weather wheel. And that's just a few features. It's 100% accessible. And the developer is very active on here. I bought the app and love it. Mom seen it and she fell in love with it, and bought it too! If you can spare 3 bucks, I strongly advise you at least check out this app. Hope this helps!

Someone correct me if I am wrong, but I don't see where Weather Gods works on the Apple Watch. Dawn? Well I might play with this later, but that $3.00 won't get me what I am looking for.
Sorry Dawn but this Thanks is covered in sarcasm.

Hi, I recommend these two. dark sky for iOS. I use Dark Sky in place of the native weather app as it provides similar information plus push notifications. For detailed information, I would recommend deep weather for iOS.

Hi. I am one of the Beta Testers for Weather gods. We are currently working on Weather Gods for the apple watch. Its still a fantastic app especially for notifications and well worth its price. As the guy said before Dark Sky is a fantastic one I have rarely known dark sky get it wrong especially if its going to rain. It might tell you via notification rain in 10 minutes. Give or take a minute its usually raining within that period.

Hope you find a solution.

Hi,

The Stock Weather App does more than just tell the current Temp. From within the App, you can find hourly forecasts of the Temp, Conditions or % Chance of Rain. You can set it to track your location, or any one of the locations you track on your iPhone.

Hi.
I have heard Weather Gods mentioned a lot of times, but haven't checked it out yet, because I'm not sure if it's available in other countries than the US. This topic, and especially the fact that the app is for the Apple watch as well, inspires me to check it out. Thanks for the recommendation.

For those living outside the USA, UK or ireland, you can forget Dark sky, in other words, no dark sky in Sweden.

Yep, that is correct. I have tested it and it works very well here in Sweden as far as i can judge. Now i have to find out how to put it on the Apple watch.
