I'm not purchasing nothing until there is an unlimited cards purchase option.

By KE7ZUM on Tuesday, August 23, 2016 - 23:14

Although an unlimited thign would be nice, I would not often use this app, maybe for me when there's a birthday, and I hardly send those out. So you could let's saypurchase 20 cards but take 2 years to use them. Think about that for a minute.

The reason I haven't done unlimited with this is that there is a cost associated with storing the cards and maintaining the website. I think I made the price of the cards rather low, so unless you want to send out thousands, the cost should be reasonable.

Cool a accessible greeting cards app. Was wondering if there would ever be an accessible 1. I've tried a bunch and none worked. Thank you for this.

how about if you could earn coins the more you use the app. For example, one coin every time you erase a greeting card you don't want anymore. that would also save space on the greeting cards website. Or you could earn free coins, three blindfolds equals one coin by watching video advertisements, like in some of the other blindfold games. What if you buy 10 more greeting cards, use them, and you just want one or two more instead of the full ten-pack, these could be ways to achieve that goal and they were only go into effect after your first in app purchase . what do you think?

By KidFriendlySoftware on Friday, December 23, 2016 - 23:14

The problem with coins based on usage is that storing the cards requires me to host a website, which costs me money every month, so I'm just more-or-less passing on that cost. The video ads idea that I experimented with about a year ago never generated any real money - probably about $100 in total over 12 months, based on about 50 games used by thousands of people.

hi there applevis,

has anyone tried the newly updated version of this app

this is by far, the worst re-designed app i've ever used,
it's just plain stressful using the app and even more stressful trying to explain to the developer. the problem,

As I mentioned in the email to you, the problem relates to not downloading all of the sound effects until you press the download button. That's how the app has always been - its not a new feature, but for some reason, it's causing problems for you. We will be changing the app to let this be an option.

By Elijah76 on Tuesday, May 23, 2017 - 23:14

you don;t get it

firstly i download all the sound effects

i know i have downloaded all the sound effects because i get notified that all sound effects have been downloaded

but after selecting the sound effect and selecting the new text to voice option, the final step is to play and review the card before sending it

when i tap play to listen to the card, i get notified that the sound effect has not been downloaded
and this is after voice over notified me that all sound effect has ben downloaded
this would mean that voice over is not telling the truth;lol

I understand what you are experiencing. I am trying to fix that, but I need more information as to what went wrong before you hit these actions. If you exit the app via the app switcher, and start it up again, does it still offer the option to download the sound effects?

you're exatly right,
when i close and re-open the app i get
the option to download the sound effects all over again as if i just downloaded the app

This is a really cool app. I just wish there were some graphics and other options you could set to make cards more interesting to look at for people who have some vision.
