How do you turn on audio description in Netflix on the Apple TV?

When using a roku to watch netflix there is an option to turn on audio description in the netflix app. Now using an apple TV to watch netflix but can't find the audio description. Can anyone say where it is?oo
Here's my understanding of it, based on what I've read. You'll need to go to Netflix on your computer. The bad news is that you'll need sighted assistance to do this. The good news is that it's a one-time setting, you just set it and forget it.

Also, if you haven't done so already, I'd turn on your audio description on your Apple TV. also. Hope this helps and best of luck!
You only need to start a movie which has audio Deskription. Then pause the video and swipe down on your remote control. Then twice to the right. It should say something like "audio". From there swipe down again and then once to the left. Now with a swipe up or down you can select the prefered language which includes "English AD" for the track you are searching for.
Pausing the Video isn't necesarry but helps to understand VoiceOver better. Hope that helps.
Hi, try to do this in Netflix app on your phone or tablet. go to brouse, Settings and it's need to be there. i don't remember because i saw that it has bein change from then i had made it.
Thanks for replying to my post. I should have said my apple TV is a second generation the remote has no place to swipe. I'll check the remote app on iPad mini. And will visit the netflix website to enable audio description for my account.
For earlier Apple Tv's, you can enable Audio Description on Netflix by:
1 Start an Audio Described program.
2 Press and hold the Play/Pause button on the Apple remote. This should pause playback and land you on the Caption settings screen.
3 Press right on the the remote and navigate to the Language settings screen.
4 Press down on the remote until you hear English AD or similar.
5 Press the Play/Pause button to restart playback with your new language selected.

When you say turn on audio description on my apple TV, I don't see that option. Maybe because my apple TV is old.
Older Apple TV
