Hello,

I use Overcast everyday. I mainly use it because it is free, and it is loads better than Apple's podcasts app.

I use Overcast on a daily basis and have been a big fan of the app for some time now. Nothing can beet the speed and voice boost on it. Simply the best podcast player out there. Supports streaming, auto download, and now playlists. Did I say it is also free?

Have been a long time user. It's very accessible, easy to use and allows me to quickly and easily manage my growing list of podcast subscriptions.

Hello,
I started using it a lot more since the 3.0 update. I like what Marco has done, and some of the features listed in previous comments. I like Downcast as well, but I give Marco a lot of credit for doing a great job.

I do ... and I have also bought the yearly subscription to get myself free of the adds and also to support the developper that made the very best player I have used to date ...

Hello,
I am not currently using it. I cannot get the app to stay active in the background so I can easily start and stop playback from the lock screen like I can with iCatcher. Overcast seems to be the only app I have issues with. I do not see this same behavior with iCatcher, which is the podcast client I currently use. If it were not for this issue I would be using Overcast all the time.

Regards,
Greg WOcher

I thought it did. I usually start and stop it from the lock screen. Maybe your device is moving the app out of memory for some reason.

You might want to contact the developer and see if it is a bug.
