Hello,
I had tried emailing Ableton about this over the course of a few years. This is how i feel about them. They have mislead me.
Back in 2014/2015 I had contacted ableton about making Live8 accessible. which was not. They had mentioned to me that it was not accessible, but that they'd keep it for Future versions.
Well a year or so goes by and I'm seeing lIve9 Beta. I contact them ask about it this time. Again not accessible, and that apple "Needs to open up voiceOver."
That is what the Email had said. So I ask what specifically does Apple Need to open up With VoiceOver. I"m not a Computer scientist, or a hardcore developer, but to my knowledge you just need to label accordingly to Accessibility guide lines. Which they had emailed back saying that We can't do it, and that blind people make a small portion of a community, It would cost too much and that they'd would need to recode their program. afterwards. I had contacted Apple to ask about this. Which Someone had told me. That they do not need to recode their whole entire program. They had lied, and all that is needed is to follow Apples Accessibility guide lines.
If i knew how i could share the emails they had sent to me. I'd share them along with you guys. i honestly would like to see such program like Ableton to be VoiceOver accessible. I like the idea behind Ableton. It's meant for live, and that's kind of my thing.
I've thought of doing a petition.

garage band or logic pro x
hi have you tried garage band or logic pro x
ment for studio recording
logic pro x and garage band are ment for studio recording, not live. the equivalent to ableton live that might be accessible is Main Stage.
I've tried asking Ableton to make it accesible
