Issues with Pages and Notes

Hi everyone,
I'm having a strange issue with Pages on my MacBook. The VoiceOver continues to repeat the word "body" with a low-frequency voice when I move up and down through the lines of the text, and the same happens with Notes. Have I accidentally activated some features I didn't want to? Can anyone help me to fix it?

I know what you're talking about, but it's been inconsistent and I'm not a regular user. In pages, my impression was that it was announcing the paragraph style. I think it does this more if you're navigating at the page level of interaction, more than if you then interact with the body of the text itself, and so it could just be a glitch where it gets hung up saying body [shrug]. I look forward to hearing from more experienced users on this, though, since it's only happened to me once and never in notes, which I've used a lot more.
