Hello all,
I have been encountering an issue with overcast making it annoying to use. For some reason it will not stay active in the app switcher. If I put my phone to sleep while listening to a podcast it works as expected and I can still hear the podcast. When I wake my phone up I can use the magic tap to stop playback when I need to stop the podcast. I then put my phone back to sleep. Now when I wake up my phone and use the magic tap to start playback again it will not start playback of the podcast. When I then unlock my phone the overcast app is no longer active. Is anyone else seeing this behavior?

This is normal behavior.
This is normal behavior. Apple stopped the app from beeign active if not used for 10 minutes to consume ram.
Resuming Playback
I do what you are talking about all the time with iCatcher, and very rarely do I find that the magic tap doesn't restart playback even after long periods of inactivity. For example. I can be listening to a podcast at bedtime, lock my phone, and in the morning, after using the phone to check mail and notifications, do the magic tap and have iCatcher playback resume.
So while this may be normal behaviour for the Overcast app, it is not normal for every app.
The only time I know that iCatcher doesn't always resume, despite being in the app switcher, is after a reboot of my phone. Otherwise, I have only rarely had this issue, and I would encounter it many times a day if it were normal for iCatcher to behave this way.
