Best Calendar Client

Hello apple Vis,
Does anyone have a recommendation for a Calendar Client that can do something a little better than the Default apple Calendar. Like sports schedules? And adding my own events in like appointments, and other things like due dates for certain projects?
Apple's Client does OK, but i never do get any kind of notifications stating that today has this and this going on.
i'm opened to hearing some suggestions.

As you have posted this to the general area of the forum, it’s not evident whether you want something for the Mac or iOS.

I think Google Calendar is good.

But I'd check the notifications, & if there are notifications, then you can turn them on. Also, if you ask Siri, `What's my day like today?` then she'd tell you.
