Greek VoiceOver

IOS6 seems to have created some problems with regard to the Greek TTS used in the voiceover feature. The new version of the Greek TTS Alexandros used in IOS6 speaks incorrect and/or ungrammatical Greek. In addition to this problem, there are issues with regard to phonemic accuracy and intonation. Consequently, using the iPhone as a reading tool for Greek, is no longer possible. Those users who speak additional languages, have been able to at least use their phone. However, the users who are only Greek speakers, can hardly use their device.

Have you alerted the Apple accessibility team as to your issue? I am sure as it deals with language & your ability to use voiceover, they would release a fix very soon.

I have indeed. I even called the Apple public relations and talked to a very helpful lady. You see, I am representing a whole list of Greek voiceover users who don't speak English and cannot even use their phone as they can hardly understand it. Thanks again.
