Meet the Future of Email with Microsoft Outlook for iOS

Thanks, Thomas, for yet another great demonstration!
I decided to give Outlook a try, and I'm really impressed by the Focused and Other thing. At least for me, it puts all the mailing list messages to Other and the ones sent to me privately to Focused. It really makes great sense to have the Focused mails to give a push notification.
But I would really like to be able to archive all messages at one time from the Inbox. It's after all kind of time-vasting to sit flikcing and tapping all the time when browsing E-mails. Is there a way to do that or does one just have to archive every message separately?
Another critical issue I'm having is that the Braille Screen Input does not work when composing a mail.
I was almost about to throw Outlook out of the window when I remembered that I have the MBraille Keyboard which fortunately works when composing messages. I do like the Braille Screen Input better, but this is a reasonably good work-around.
But to whom should one report that BSI does not work? I mean, it's a feature by Apple, and it should obviously support all types of fields where you can use the virtual keyboard. On the other hand, most of the fields do work with BSI without any issues, so certainly Microsoft could have done a better job here.

I'm pretty sure I will be sticking with Outlook at least for now, especially thanks to the focused folder and possibility to get push notifications only from it. 90 % of my mails are mailing list messages of which I don't want to be notified.

Can't agree more in what you have mentioned. Yes, having the Focus and Other does indeed help to clean up in what you want to see. Also, like you with the mailing lists that I have on. Outlook certainly will throw those in to the Others and have what is important separate in the Focus if you choose to do this.

No, now I am not aware in how to do multiple deletions or archives at once. Although, I will say that they are always coming out with updates to this app with new features. But, I would highly recommend people to send Microsoft a note in what you like to see improved or added to Outlook.

I did not know that Outlook does not work well with the BSI. That is rather disappointing to hear. As I typically use my Bluetooth keyboard instead but I understand that people will prefer the BSI. So, another reason to contact Microsoft to have them aware of this problem!

After hearing the podcast regarding Outlook for iOS, I thought I'd give it a try. I was able to add my GMail account without any problems, but I can't add my main account which is also my Microsoft account.
After I enter the correct information, it asks if it can access my info. When I answer Yes, a message pops up saying there's a problem adding the account, and to contact Support. I'm just wondering if anyone else has experienced this?
I don't have Outlook for Windows as it didn't come with my version of Office 2013, so I'm wondering if that might be the problem as well?

The subject says it all. I managed to add the account I wanted by choosing the button for another provider, which surprisingly wasn't labeled, given that the rest of the app seems quite accessible with VO.

After fiddling with Outlook this afternoon. There is a way to select multiple emails so that you can delete them all at once.

1. Find the email that you like to select. Don't open the email. Just make sure you are on the email that you want to select.
2. Now do a double tap and hold until you get that unique sound. This means you have now selected this email. You can swipe back and forth to hear that it has been selected.
3. Keep repeating 2 to other emails until you are done.
4. At the bottom of the screen. You will hear Flag, Mark as Read, Move Delete, and follow by Achieve. Just double tap on what you want to do.

That is, it! This should help you in selecting a bunch of emails and performing a function that will be so much easier than doing them one by one!
