Issues Editing Facebook Posts with VoiceOver

I really have a question for Facebook users. As Facebook changes constantly. Currently, using voice over, I am unable to edit one of my own posts. I am able to edit a comment I have made to someone else's posts, but not my own original post. The edit button is there for those who are sighted, but in voice over, it is not recognized. Does anyone know a way to edit their own FB posts. Thank you.

Hello there the way to do it is that you have to turn off voiceover off and hit the edit button if you know where it is and then turn voiceover back on is the only way that you can do it once you hit the button options are readable by voice over

Anthony: thanks for the suggestion. I have two issues with your method. The user is blind. So finding the Edit button would be difficult. But even once found, when voice over is turned back on, the editing options in the drop down box disappear and you have to start the process over. But it always disappears. Am I missing something? Thanks again.

One way to edit a facebook post is to go to that post and 2-finger double-tap. Double-tap on more. Look for the edit post button.
Hope it helps.

The two finger double tap worked perfectly. Thanks for the help.

I use 2-finger double tap to edit posts. It works beautifully. Unsure about which version of Fb. is running, but if it's any of the latest versions, it should give you that hint. Then again if the user has hints turned off... Nonetheless, I have edited posts using this method, & the process has been smoothly.

Has anyone noticed that they added an extra step to setting your news feed to show most recent? I get the feeling that they are slowing shoving most recent posts deeper and deeper. It's as if they are slowing but surely working towards getting rid of it completely. I do not like this, one bit.
