Best Mail client for managing several Email accounts

I use mac mail for all of it. I use ios mail as well. I have 5 email accounts, 4 for my business and 1 for me. I also use the watche's mail app to read and respond to notifications.

I have not tried this, but it appears you can set notifications to a smart mailbox. With the right rules, you should only get the notifications you want. Another way to make that happen is by setting it to inbox only then setting rules to move messages you don't want notifications for elsewhere. It will depend in part on how you like to work, but the unified inbox is the key feature for me. I too have several personal accounts, and it's a great feature not to have to check each of the inbox folders individually. The things I really don't want in my inbox are filtered where I want them. Others may have suggestions of apps they like better, but I have found nothing better than the default Mac mail client. Tighter calendar and task integration in the style of Outlook with the ability to build complex sorting and followup dates would be the best of both worlds, but I am finding other ways to manage that rather than give up the unified inbox. Of course, if you don't need access to your mail everywhere or don't mind having to do a little server maintenance from time to time to clean out old mail, Outlook works pretty well too and can put everything in one inbox using POP3 instead of IMAP.

You can also set the reply to header as well. I might reply from my home address but when a user clicks reply they will see my work address for replying.

Another thign you might want to do is set up filters on your server. I have my personal gmail set up with over 100 filers to have mail go where ever I want it to go. All of that syncs over onto the phone as well.

I'd merge all your accounts into ios/mac mail. I notice on my ios device in my mail it gives me ann accounts button. I haven't looked in it, but from what I assume it's for managing your email accounts. Fer me though, I just use 1 account (Gmail) for all my email. But I could iee why you'd want to keep accounts separate. Honestly, that's what I'd try & do. I'm not sure if that would cut down on the number of notifications, but you'd have a place to manage all your mail in one central location. Also, I noticed a button that also said filter messages. I haven't gone en jhere, because the times that I've had to filter anything, I just need jo put it in my junkmail or take it from my junkmail & put it in my inbox.

I'd check & see if your mail client lets you filter messages. I know Gmail does because that's what I use & I know you can on the ios mail app. Not sure about other email services so I'd check that.

I forgot to suggest another thing. Look at creating different inboxes. I know ios offers that feature because I accidentally created a knew inbox when I was first learning how to move mail around on my ipad, & ALL of my emails were routed to that one instead of the default inbox where they should have been!

Yeah choose the account when you are sending the message. Tap on the account and you will be presented with a picker at the bottom of the message. Once you choose it tap it and then hit enter on the keyboard. Finish creating your message.

I'm a Windows 10 user with iPhone and iPod Touch and, with an Office 365 subscription, there's quite a bit of flexibility setting up Outlook. I use Outlook on my Windows 10 desktop, and I like it very much, having been using it now for a few years. I've recently installed it on my iPhone 5S and my iPod Touch 6th generation and I have three separate email accounts set up with Outlook for IOS on each device, hotmail, iCloud, and Yahoo accounts. I googled just now and found that you can download and install Outlook for Mac (https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=45492). When you use the IOS version of Outlook, you have an individual inbox for each account, which is what you want. It's worth looking at Outlook for IOS. Actually, you don't have to have an Office 365 subscription to use the IOS app, since anyone can install the app. I mention this since you were also talking about doing mail on the Mac. The Office 365 subscription is good since you get the entire Office suite as well as one terabyte of online storage for each computer. An important point for us Windows users is that Microsoft is rolling out accessibility improvements monthly, and so having the subscription means you have continually updated software. You can actually choose the inbox by tapping the account in mail and the inbox is right there, I love the unified inbox though as for me I can get a lot don eat once.
