Hello & good afternoon!

I'm glad you like Read2Go! I got it with some itunes money I recieved over Christmas! I love it too & in my opinion, I believe it's better than the Capti Voice Narrator.

As for learning how to use it, you can learn how to use it 1 of 2 ways.

1. If you feel comfortable, you can just play around with it. I'm a tech nerd, so I like doing this kind of thing. This was how I learned how to use it.
2. There is a help section in the app. If you scroll down, you can find a button or tab that says help.

I'd post how to use it, but unfortunately, that would be a VERY LENGTHY post! :)

If you cannot figure it out, or if you have other qustions after reading the help section in the app, please don't hesitate to post here again, & I will do what ever I can to assist you.

The thing to remember is that it's basically Bookshare's site, in an app. And if you want to download a book, DO NOT click on the download button after the book.

Say you wanjed to download The Whistler by John Grisham. Relly good author by the way. But you'd just click the title link & scroll past everything until you see the download button, click it & the book will be downloading! If you click on the button without clicking on the link, you will get a download failed message!

I would recommend getting the Voice Dream Reader app. Not only does it read Bookshare books, but it also reads a great deal of other text sources. If nothing else, you should look up its entry on Applevis to read about it. I don't know what Read2Go charges now, but when I bought it, the price was over double what you pay for Voice Dream Reader with far fewer functions. Just my thoughts.

Hi, I got it! But I was wondering, how can you go from one chapter to another chapter? Because in some books you really cant. But I agree I really agree love read2go. I love BARD but I could not download a lot of books because it would say insufficient storage available. And on read2go I have downloaded many. Thanks and God bless.

Hi !I haven't used Read2Go in a while because I find Voice Dream Reader mor useful, but usually the next and previous buttons on the far left and right of the bottom of the screen will move by chapter. You are correct in that certain books don't support moving by chapter. That's because some books that get uploaded to Bookshare aren't formatted correctly and don't have any heading markup for daisy players like Read2Go to identify. Sometimes you can get arround this by keyword searching for chapter, or clicking the navigation button will sometimes give you a list of headings that can tben be selected. That's why Ifind Voice Dream Reader more efficient. It lets you swipe up and down on the play button to rewind or fast forward by varying lengths of text. HTH
