Hi all. i bought two apps, Ididn't intend too. I went to report the problem, to be refunded, and I'm having problems with the two factor authentication. The phone says, one code, but when I just logged in, the Mac had a diferent code. I've tried both codes, nothing seemed to work. Is anyone having a problem? Thanks for any help.

The codes are time based
The six-digit code used for two-factor authorization is based on the current time, and it changes every 30 seconds. When you receive a code, you only have a minute or so to enter the code before it expires, so you must move quickly.
If the code doesn't work, you can request a new code within iOS settings. Go to iCloud, select your Apple ID, choose Password & Security, then Get Verification Code.
If you find it too difficult to enter the codes in a timely fashion, then you may want to turn off two-factor authorization. Although it is more secure, it might not be worth the hassle.
How do you turn off two-factor authentication?
I'm having the same problem described above, both with my iPhone and my PC, namely that i keep getting different codes on both devices and none of them work. Given the explanation in the previous post that there is a time limit on entering these codes, it's possible that i'm not entering them quick enough. At this moment I am, quite frankly, regretting having set up two-factor authentication. So how do I disable it?
You can disable 2-factor authentication
You can disable 2-factor authentication at http://appleid.apple.com. Sign in with your Apple Id and go to the security section of your account page. You should see a button that says turn off 2-factor authentication. Hope this helps.
Thanks for that tip, but ...
Thanks very much for that tip. Unfortunately, I still need to use two-factor authentication to finish signing in on the Manage Your Apple ID page, and, however quickly I type in the code, it still comes up as incorrect every time: yesterday it got to the point where I was told i'd tried too many incorrect codes and must try again later, then this morning I gave up after several incorrect codes to avoid that warning coming up again. There's obviously something I'm doing wrong, and it's thoroughly frustrating, I can tell you! At least I can be thankful that I can still make purchases from iTunes and the App Store on my iPhone: I encountered this two-factor authentication problem for the first time yesterday when I realised I was no longer signed in on iTunes on my PC.
Follow-up to previous post
After my frustration a couple of days ago, as described in my previous post, I have now been able to turn off two-factor authentication. By some miracle I managed to sign in on the Manage My Apple ID page, with them obviously accepting my code for once, and, after asking me to change my password to a stronger one, I could get into the security options and turn off two-factor authentication, although this meant I had to choose three new security questions, which are far less complicated to deal with. I'm very relieved right now that I can sign into iTunes on my PC again.
2 factor authentication and Apple TV
Hi All,
Since enabling 2 factor authentication I have been having trouble with my Apple TV, 3rd Generation.
The Apple TV has started asking me to enter my password almost every day, something that never happened before. Now, when I enter my password, I receive an access code to my iPhone. I cannot, for the life of me though, work out where to enter it on the 3rd Gen Apple TV.
Any thoughts from the Community greatly appreciated.
