Taptic Time for the iPhone?

Hello,
Does anyone know how to make all iPhones running iOS 10 vibrate the time just like the taptic time feature in watchOS 3? In WatchOS 3 when VoiceOver is turned on and the screen is locked, you can double tap the watch face with 1 finger and the watch will vibrate the hours and the minutes. Maybe in iOS 10 there could be a similar way?

I sent an email about the taptic time feature for the iPhone to Accessibility@apple.com yesterday and got a reply:
Hello,
Thank you for your email.  We appreciate the feedback and will pass this on to the appropriate people for their consideration.

With the bigger phones especially, it wouldn't be an option. As it is, my otterbox rubber plastic case really doesn't let me feel the vibrations well. So unless you have the tiny SE and compared to my six S it is small, then why would you do that? Simple, you wouldn't.

This solution is no where as good as what we have on the apple watch, because it requires you to have your phone unlocked and voice over switched off, but you might try an app called pocket time. With this app you can keep your phone in your pocket and tap any where on the screen to feel the time vibrated. I found little use for this, but perhaps, if you know you will be sitting through a long meeting etc. you can set up the phone ahead of time to get this app to work for you.

P, s, tactile time on the apple watch is pretty great.
