iTunes and iPhone6S constantly syncing over WiFi

Hi All,

I would appreciate some advice regarding a problem I am having with iTunes on my Mac.

Since upgrading my MBP to the latest edition of iTunes, every time that iTunes is open on my Mac, the Syncing Chime plays every minute or so. This happens all of the time, every time. Whether music is playing or not, whether iTunes is the active Window or not. It's enough to make a man crazy, I tell you...

I have found only two ways to stop the Syncing Tone play constantly, and that is to either have my iPhone directly plugged into my MBP or to disable the Sync Over WiFi setting in iTunes for this phone.

I like the Sync over WiFi feature, so any and all assistance would be greatly appreciated...

Hello,
I am not sure why you want to have the wi-fi sync on the phone. If you have the device connected to an icloud account that should be sufficient for keeping things synced. I would think it should be just as easy to turn off the wi-fi sync to solve the issue and still keep your phone backed up with icloud. Just my 2 cents.

I had the same issue, although I use Windows, not MacOS. Anyways, a recent update to iTunes seems to have fixed the issue for me.
