Not a fan of Roger's new interface

Hi. I just updated to Roger version 1.2.8, and i'm finding this new interface quite frustrating. Before this new one came out, I was able to navigate the app pretty easily, simply by swiping around. Now I'm finding that I have to do a lot of exploring by touch, and i'm having to hit a lot of extra buttons just to get things done. Also, this idea of constantly encouraging me to enable live mode is a little odd as well. I'm in a lot of groups, and in the current incarnation, if i'm sending someone a message and a new one comes in with live mode enabled, the new message interrupts what i'm doing, sends the message and I end up having to send another one. I've since disabled live mode, but I think the setting should only appear in the settings screen. If a setting is right there on the main screen I may end up activating it when I don't mean to. I'm going to be honest...I preferred the previous interface to this new one. So what do you guys think? Am I alone here with my ideas? I know the Roger team monitors this site so I'm hoping maybe they'll see this and maybe find a way to fix some of this stuff. I'm just finding that the interface is more clumsy. the previous one, for me at least, was a lot more intuitive and it made it easier to get things done. On a positive note, the change playback rate feature is a nice touch. It helps if you have a lot of messages to go through in a group.

Right? I think the earlier iterations of the UI were also good. much easier to add people then.
